The French president, Emmanuel Macronstated this Saturday (17) that the threat of tariffs imposed by US President Donald Trump in relation to Greenland is unacceptable and that, if confirmed, Europe will respond in a coordinated manner.
“No intimidation or threat will influence us, not in Ukraine, not in Greenland, not anywhere else in the world when we are faced with such situations,” Macron said on X.
“Threats of tariffs are unacceptable and have no place in this context. Europeans will respond to them in a united and coordinated way if they are confirmed.”
