SIC continues to reveal, exclusively, the images that will serve as evidence in the theft process at Lisbon airport.
Former deputy Miguel Arruda was filmed carrying suitcases into the Assembly of the Republic.
The video surveillance images – now revealed because the process is no longer under judicial secrecy – are from a camera positioned on one of the streets that gives access to AR and which is close to Arruda’s former office.
The images to which SIC had access will be the proof of the allegedly stolen luggage entering the most recent building of the Assembly of the Republic. They were later seized in the PSP search operation.
On Thursday, SIC had exclusively revealed of the alleged thefts at the airport.
Between October 2024 and January 2025, Miguel Arruda he stole 20 suitcases on at least 13 journeys between Lisbon and Ponta Delgada, in the Azores.
