Read background stories about watches with style…

There are just 30 timepieces that writer Colin Salter presents in this – compared to other horological tomes – a relatively small book. They are low-threshold short portraits of watches that have an interesting story. Be it because they wrote design history (Navitimer, Monaco) or were involved in criminal cases (John Lennon’s Patek). Refreshingly, the choice did not exclusively fall on extremely fine haute horlogerie products, which are out of reach for most mere mortals. Swatch and Casio also find their deserved place.
