Drains in the bathtub, shower or sink tend to get clogged at the most inopportune moment. Seemingly innocent everyday activities gradually cause contaminants that are difficult to remove to accumulate in the pipes. When the water starts flowing slower, it is worth reacting immediately, before a minor problem turns into a serious problem.
The drain becomes clogged, among other things, because hair appears in it, which flows into the pipes during washing and gets stuck in the siphon. What’s more, this situation is not improved by cosmetic remnants, such as various types of conditioners, masks and oils.
As a result, a mass is created in the drain that is difficult to remove and blocks the flow of liquid. Moreover, this problem grows quite quickly, getting worse with each use of the bathtub, or sinks. Therefore, we should immediately take appropriate action as soon as we notice that the water is draining slower than usual.
To get rid of this problem, we don’t have to buy strong, chemical products or call a plumber. It turns out that all you need is something that we often have in our cupboard, namely depilatory cream. This is a product that dissolves hair perfectly, so it may be very useful in this case.
Enough is enough we will squeeze a large amount of cream directly into the drain, without diluting it with water. Leave it on for about a quarter of an hour and then rinse it off with warm water.

If we don’t have depilatory cream at home, we can try other methods that are equally effective. One of them is the use of a reliable duoi.e. baking soda and vinegar. All you need to do is pour half a glass of baking soda into the drain and pour one glass of vinegar over it.
Leave it like that, and after half an hour, fill the drain with very warm water. This will eliminate the problem. Another method is to use hot water and dishwashing liquid. We just need to pour a large dose of liquid into the drain and pour hot water over it. This will remove any remaining cosmetics. This is also a good preventive measure that should be performed from time to time to prevent drains from clogging.
