US President Donald Trump has announced tariffs on goods from eight NATO members until the US reaches an agreement to buy Greenland. TASR informs about it based on a CNBC report.

Goods from eight NATO member countries will face gradually increasing tariffs in the US “until an agreement is reached on the full and total buyout of Greenland”, Trump said on Saturday.
Duties are to be concerned Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Netherlands and Finland. According to Trump, they will start paying on February 1 at the rate of 10%. He added that on June 1, the rate will increase to 25%.
