Two doctors died after being shot by another doctor in front of a luxury restaurant on Avenida Copacabana, in the Alphaville Plus neighborhood, in on Friday night (16), around 10pm. The gunman, Carlos Alberto Azevedo Silva Filho, aged 44, was arrested in the act.
According to the information gathered, the victims were identified as Luís Roberto Pellegrini Gomes, aged 43, and Vinicius dos Santos Oliveira, aged 35. The three knew each other and had met by chance at the restaurant. The Municipal Civil Guard was initially called to investigate the report of an armed man inside the establishment, where there was an argument between patrons, contained at that time.
Shortly afterwards, outside the restaurant, Carlos Alberto pulled out a 9 mm pistol and fired shots at the two men who were on the sidewalk. The victims were rescued and taken to emergency rooms in the region, but they did not survive their injuries.
The weapon used in the crime was seized, as well as fired capsules, a bag, documents and the amount of R$16,140. The police authority requested the conversion of the flagrant arrest into preventive detention. The case was registered as a homicide and location/seizure of an object by the Barueri Police Station, which requested forensic examination at the scene.
