Vacations in exotic countries are a dream come true for many people, but in addition to sun, sea and relaxation, they often bring experiences that tourists did not expect at all. In destinations where nature is still closely connected with everyday life, it is not unusual for local animals to wander right into hotel rooms, bungalows or apartments.
While for locals it is a completely normal part of everyday life, for vacationers such meetings are often a shock, a source of fear, but often also funny incidents that they will remember for a long time. Miriam Kalisová, the former presenter of Televízny Novín on Markíza, also experienced a similar situation. It came on vacation in Costa Rica.
She added images on the social network as if from a natural history film. “We almost had a heart attack when we saw the eyes and nose climbing out from behind the railing in the dark. He normally climbed onto our terrace… He walked over the beam to the other side and climbed down… As if nothing had happened,” she described an unusual experience for her. The presenter caught an adorable sloth on camera. You can find the video above the article.
The animal also got a name. “We named him Karol… Because it occurred to us that he’s already like a member of the family in the few days he’s been hanging around us. I can’t believe I could have experienced this,” Kalisová wrote enthusiastically. Some tourists pay for such experiences. “I don’t know if this is a coincidence… But people come here on trips to see them… And we have a safari right here on the terrace,” she boasted.
