Berlin – Norwegian director Joachim Trier’s drama “Sentimental Value” about a difficult father-daughter relationship has won six European film awards, including the award for best film. The European Film Academy announced this on Saturday evening in Berlin. The main actors – the Swede Stellan Skarsgård and the Norwegian Renate Reinsve – both won acting awards. Trier also won the award for best director. In “Sentimental Valuer” he talks about the complicated relationship between a director and his two daughters.
