With a perfect campaign so far, Cruzeiro secured a place in the quarter-finals of the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior by defeating Santos 3-1, in São Carlos, in the round of 16 of the competition. On the other hand, Guanabara City advanced by defeating Atlético-PI on penalties after 0-0 in normal time.
