Allies of (Republicans) are betting on his and the former first lady’s actions () for the house arrest of (PL) to rehabilitate the presidential candidacy of the governor of .

Still according to the senator’s allies, Tarcísio’s statement could be a shot in the foot if it suggests to voters that he is conspiring against the former president’s choice.
A centrão leader says that Flávio’s candidacy is consolidated and that linking prison conditions to the presidential candidacy would be a conspiracy theory. For another leader, there is still time for a change of scenery.
Bolsonaro parliamentarians claim that Michelle prefers Tarcísio’s candidacy and reminds her about a new CEO for Brazil. In this scenario, the rapprochement between them would have the objective of having the former first lady be a candidate for vice-president on the ticket.
For politicians interviewed by the report, the Bolsonaro public can attribute the improvement in Bolsonaro’s prison conditions —which he is now in— to the actions of Tarcísio and, mainly, Michelle.
“Congratulations to Michelle and Tarcísio! They knew how to articulate how to remove Bolsonaro from the PF to a better place. Certain victories are achieved in stages”, wrote pastor Silas Malafaia on social media.
Profiles supporting Tarcísio on social media praised the duo.
Michelle wrote, on Friday (16) on her social networks, that Bolsonaro’s health requires him to be at home, being looked after by his family. She also refuted the version that she was acting politically when looking for Moraes.
“For me, family is above any narrative, above any political convenience. Those who also love and defend my love, our leader, I ask that you do not take me to the court of personal judgment, that you do not rush to judge me or create labels with political connotations.”
Another son of Bolsonaro, (PL), who has already had disagreements with his stepmother, insinuated in his networks that there is an attempt to measure forces with the former president.
“I am absolutely convinced, given the most recent facts, that the objective was never to measure strength with Jair Bolsonaro’s children. This was always just the surface of the game. The real intention, even if in a disguised way, is to measure strength with Jair Bolsonaro himself,” he wrote.
Allies of Tarcísio who defend his candidacy say that the duo’s articulation of house arrest is not necessarily an electoral bargaining chip. The expectation, however, is that both the governor and Michelle will achieve more prestige than Flávio before the former president — which could make him change his mind regarding the election.
Businessman Filipe Sabará, , told Sheet that there is an attempt to remove the senator from the race.
“On the one hand, a letter, written in his own hand by Jair Bolsonaro, the greatest leader of the right, containing a mission to his eldest son. On the other, a ‘force of force’ by interest groups, using the legitimate struggle of a wife desperate for her husband’s relief, planting notes and research, and using Governor Tarcísio as a maneuver, to try to undermine Flávio Bolsonaro’s candidacy.”
