According to the Military Police, the garrison was carrying out a checkpoint when they ordered a motorcycle occupied by two individuals to stop. The suspects disobeyed the order and tried to flee the scene, which led to the beginning of a tactical follow-up. After a brief chase, the police managed to make the stop.

During the personal search, the passenger, identified by the initials J. de OC, aged 20, was found with a blue bottle containing 30 small bundles of a white substance analogous to cocaine, as well as a wrapper of a greenish substance similar to skunk-type marijuana. R$13 in cash were also seized.

The driver of the motorcycle, identified as BP da S., aged 18, did not have a National Driving License (CNH) and confessed to the police that he had used drugs, specifically marijuana.

Also according to the PM, when questioned about the origin of the illicit material, both reported that the drug would be intended for sale and that they would deliver it to the community where they reside, located in Ramal do Gama.
