Rescue of the three dead after an avalanche accident in Styria has begun


Pusterwald – In the Upper Styrian Pusterwald, work by the mountain rescue and Alpine police began on Sunday morning to rescue the three Czech tourers who died in an avalanche accident late on Saturday afternoon. The accident happened as the group of seven descended in the area of ​​the 2,202 meter high Schönfeldspitz, as the mountain rescue service announced in response to an APA request. On Saturday the weather was too bad for the operation – in Salzburg several people also died due to avalanches.
