Washington – US President Donald Trump wants to impose new tariffs on eight European NATO countries with reference to the Greenland conflict. The staggered tariffs should apply until an agreement is reached on the complete purchase of the Arctic island, Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform on Saturday. From February 1st, punitive tariffs of 10 percent will apply, and from June 1st, tariffs of 25 percent will apply to all goods sent to the USA.
