Washington – The US government under President Donald Trump wants to demand a billion dollars from states for a seat on the “Peace Council” for Gaza. The Bloomberg news agency reported this on Saturday, citing a draft charter. The White House called this “misleading.” There is no minimum fee for membership – rather, “this merely provides permanent membership to partner countries that are strongly committed to peace, security and prosperity.”
