A wife of flight instructor Diego Dantas Lima Moraisone of the victims of the helicopter crash recorded this Saturday (17), in Guaratibain the West Zone of Rio de Janeirospoke publicly about her husband’s death. On social media, Marcelle Rios shared a photo alongside his partner and paid an emotional tribute.
In the publication, Marcelle wrote: “I will always love you, my beautiful pilot! Take care of me from heaven, which is where you always loved to be”. The message moved the couple’s followers and friends.

Tribute and trajectory of the couple
Diego Dantas was a flight instructor and was one of the three victims of the plane crash. Besides him, they died Sergio Nunes Mirandamajor da Brazilian Air Force (FAB)e Lucas Silva Souzacaptain of Fire Department and pilot of the aircraft. Diego was the single civilian among the helicopter occupants.
The instructor worked as a pilot at the company SkyRiospecialized in panoramic flights over tourist attractions in Rio de Janeiro, such as Christ the Redeemer and the Sugar Loaf. On social media, the couple used to share moments of travel, leisure and declarations of love. In one of the publications, Marcelle stated that they were married for six years.
“May there be more trips, more stories, more incredible moments and more dreams come true! I love life even more because you exist in it”, wrote the influencer in another entry. Marcelle Rios brings together more than 116 thousand followers and claims to have already mentored more than 20 thousand women.
Accident investigation
The helicopter, a Robinson R44 IIwith prefix PS-GJSfell in a wooded area close to the intersection of Avenida Levy Neves and Rua Tasso da Silveira. Teams from Fire Department were called, but found the victims already dead.

Preliminary information indicates that the aircraft had landed in Guaratiba Aeroclubefueled and taken off shortly before the accident. THE Brazilian Air Forcethrough the Center for Research and Prevention of Aeronautical Accidents (CENIPA)reported that investigators were called in for initial action, collecting data, preserving evidence and gathering information to determine the causes of the fall.
