I mix it with water and wash the floors. There is no trace of the streaks

It often happens that there are streaks on the floors. The problem is not the mop, but the products we use. Proportions also matter. For several years I have been washing the panels with a mixture of two kitchen products. Thanks to it, the surfaces are shiny and clean.

First of all, it is worth considering what are streaks anyway?. Well, it’s nothing more than the remains of cleaning agents.

Why do they stay on the floors? It’s all because of the polishing polymers leaving a thin layer on the panels, worsening the effect.

We often encounter this with too much cleaning agent. More does not necessarily mean cleaner. Then the polishing substances are deposited.

We will intensify this effect, if we don’t wring out the mop thoroughly. Excess water and detergent will not be collected evenly from the surface, resulting in streaks and streaks.

To wash the floors without streaks, prepare a slightly acidic solution dissolving mineral deposits and grease. Moreover, such liquid will quickly evaporate from the floor, reducing the risk of water stains.

I make a homemade floor cleaner with 3 tablespoons and a few drops of dishwashing liquid. I pour this mixture into a bucket with 5 liters of lukewarm water.

Why does this trick work? Vinegar lowers the surface tension of water. Therefore, all impurities are removed from the surface and the liquid dries quickly and evenly. In turn, dishwashing liquid acts as an emulsifier. This mixture effectively removes dust, greasy marks and hard water deposits.

Remember that the mop should not be soaked. I always wash the panels in strips and leave them to dry naturally.
