Large fire destroys residence and affects vehicle in the capital of Acre

A large fire completely destroyed a masonry residence and hit a vehicle on Sunday afternoon (18), in the Government Houses region, in the Andirá subdivision, in Rio Branco. The incident was recorded on Rua Gralha, block 19, behind the Aquiri guesthouse, and caused concern among residents of the area.

According to witness reports, the flames spread quickly and threatened neighboring properties. Within minutes, the fire engulfed the entire structure of the affected house, causing significant material losses and generating a rush among residents who feared the fire would spread.

Residents also reported the suspicion that the fire may have been arson. People who were close to the scene stated that a possible perpetrator had been seen in the vicinity shortly after the flames started, information that must be investigated by the authorities.

Given the gravity of the situation, the Fire Department was called to contain the fire and prevent other homes from being affected. So far, there are no reports of injuries.

The circumstances of the fire will be investigated by the competent bodies. The case generated concern among residents of the neighborhood, who followed the work of the flame-fighting teams with apprehension.
