Vienna – The KAC was the first team to secure a ticket to the quarter-finals of the ICE Ice Hockey League. The record champions from Klagenfurt won 5-3 at the Black Wings Linz on Sunday and can no longer be pushed out of the top six in the basic round that runs until March 1st. In the direct duel for third place, Red Bull Salzburg beat HCB Südtirol 7-4 at home and is now three points ahead of the team from Bolzano.
