Ricardo Costa, from SIC, considers that António José Seguro will not change his speech for the second round of the presidential elections, because he knows that to achieve a comfortable majority he needs to “not put on the back of the left-right polarization”. And if there’s one thing he showed in the campaign, it’s that he was very disciplined in choosing a path and never leaving it. Ricardo Costa also believes that “many people from AD will show up supporting António José Seguro”.
The first projections of the presidential elections immediately confirmed what had been predicted for weeks: the next something that hadn’t happened in 40 years. However, there was a surprise: António José Seguro, candidate supported by the Socialist Party, won the first round.
