On the night of this Sunday, January 18th, a special broadcast from the 1st Company was aired and in it the recruits were confronted with several images of conversations inside the Base, one of them starring Noélia Pereira and Soraia Sousa.
Since Noélia Pereira mentioned having already heard and seen “macho” expressions and/or attitudes, Sara Santos decided to speak out and reveal that, in her opinion, this never happened.
In order to better explain her point of view, the journalist decided to ‘confront’ the businesswoman from Tavira again, on the morning of Monday, January 19th: “I’m going to explain my point of view to you. I have a son out there, man, do you understand? Imagine me being on the other side and hearing that some men here are sexist, on the other side I would think ‘is that my son?’…”he began by mentioning.
Sara Santos reinforced that she has never seen “attitudes on the part of men here”, showing her perplexity: “But sexist? It was to try to understand what you heard. Because it’s like that, as a woman, if I heard a man do that, I would immediately attack, I wouldn’t allow it! That’s enough! But I’ve never heard red alert behavior (…). You don’t want to talk, you don’t want to talk, it’s going to be a scene here in the air, it’s an accusation… It’s a pretty serious accusation”realized.
