This Sunday, January 18th, a special broadcast from the 1st Company was aired, led by Maria Botelho Moniz.
The presenter spoke to some of the recruits about Saturday’s post-gala (17), but also listened to the nominations of each of them, with a view to informing who this week’s nominees will be.
At a certain point, and because in one of the blocks of images, it is possible to hear Noélia Pereira mentioning that she has seen and heard “macho” attitudes and words inside the Base, the businesswoman decided to explain her observation.
“What I said is that I’ve never felt anything like that directly with myself, but that I’ve heard expressions that I consider a bit sexist, but it wasn’t directly with me. I don’t even know if they happened in off or live, so I won’t be saying”he began by saying.
Confronted by Maria Botelho Moniz, Noélia Pereira chose not to mention names: “Don’t you want to tell me what you heard or from whom?”the presenter wanted to know. “No Maria, no. It was a conversation and it wasn’t directly with me, conversations that happen (…). You know I’m a direct person, when I have to say names, I say, now things were thrown into the air. I’ve never felt directly with me so it’s okay”.
