In a note, Corte highlights his democratic trajectory and performance in public positions
O released this Sunday (18) a note of condolence for the death of the former minister which took place in Brasília after a long treatment for pancreatic cancer. On behalf of the Judiciary, the Court expressed solidarity with the family members and wished them strength in this time of mourning.
In the message, signed by the ministervice-president of the STF, Jungmann is described as “a great democrat” and an example of a public figure. The text highlights his performance in various positions throughout his public life, always with competence, loyalty and efficiency.
Moraes also recalled his joint work with Jungmann during the Rio de Janeiro Olympics, when they both worked on coordinating the event’s intelligence and security areas.
