Famous British football player Wayne Rooney (40) spoke for the first time about a health problem that has been bothering him for several years. The former Premier League player and former Manchester United star admitted that he is deaf in his left ear. Wayne mentioned the difficulties in a backstage episode of Match of the Day where explaining why he uses an earpiece in his right ear during TV expert appearances.
As he pointed to his right ear, he said, “Can I have it in this ear? I used to turn off my listening ear. The problem is, I’m deaf in my left ear. When it’s too loud, I have trouble hearing what Kelly Cates or anyone else is saying.”
Former striker he also recently attracted attention by celebrating his fortieth birthday. He dressed up as Freddie Mercury at a party. It was inspired by the late Queen frontman’s iconic look from the 1984 music video I Want to Break Free. He danced with a vacuum cleaner while wearing high heels, a black leather skirt, a pink tight sleeveless top, purple earrings and a black wig.
