Acre River retreats throughout the day, but remains above the transshipment quota in Rio Branco

The level of the Acre River showed a gradual drop throughout this Monday, January 19, 2026, in Rio Branco. According to the official bulletin from the Municipal Civil Defense, the river remains above the overflow level, which is 14.00 meters, but has continued to ebb since dawn.

At 5:19 am, the Acre River reached 14.52 meters. Throughout the day, levels continued to fall: 14.49m at 9am, 14.44m at noon, 14.37m at 3pm and 14.31m at 6pm, indicating a continuous reduction in water volume.

In the last 24 hours, an accumulation of 8.60 millimeters of rain was recorded in the capital of Acre. Despite the decrease in the level, the Civil Defense maintains constant monitoring, as the river is still above the alert level, established at 13.50 meters.

The riverside population and residents of lower areas must remain attentive to the guidelines of official bodies. The Municipal Civil Defense Coordination continues to monitor the situation and may issue new announcements at any time.
