Herning – Austria’s men’s national handball team missed the main round despite a victory at the European Championships in Denmark/Sweden/Norway. Team boss Iker Romero’s team beat Serbia 26:25 (12:13) in their third group game in Herning on Monday after a great fight. It was the first success at this European Championship after two defeats, but it is not enough for the top 2 in Group A. In the end, thanks to German support, we came third in the table.
