You don’t actually need any signposts for this exhibition. You find Leiko Ikemura on the ground floor of the Albertina and her world full of mysterious creatures. It may be intuition. Or it may be because of the Japanese artist’s bronze sculptures installed in the colonnade instead of the classicist marble busts that draw the audience almost magically to the pillared hall. There: a dream world with rabbit women, girl characters and poetic nature.
