Carolina Ortigão remembers Nuno Graciano's help: “I remember Nuno saying 'no, you're not going to die'…”

Carolina Ortigão was recently on the program ‘Passadeira Vermelha’, on SIC Caras, commenting on celebrity news, together with colleagues Filipa Torrinha Nunes and Heitor Lourenço.

At one point, when commenting on the statements made by presenter Júlia Pinheiro, who admitted that she had already had panic attacks, Lourenço Ortigão’s mother revealed that she also knows what it is like to suffer from this problem.

“I already had it, I didn’t even know what it was. You think you’re going to die, you start without breathing, the air doesn’t come in and you start… And the person who helped me was Nuno Graciano”he began by saying.

After highlighting that her friend also suffered from panic attacks, the commentator recalled how important the support of the presenter was, who died of a stroke in December 2023.

“I had two or three in his presence, I think he was the one who got rid of my panic attacks, because he taught me how to breathe (…). I never had them again, I haven’t had them for many years, but it’s a terrible feeling, but if you have it, it’s something treatable and you learn to breathe and that no, you’re not going to die. I remember saying ‘Nuno, I’m going to die’. I remember Nuno saying ‘No, you’re not going to die’…”he also said.
