Grabher is in round two of the Australian Open for the first time


Melbourne – Julia Grabher has mastered her opening hurdle at the Australian Open and is now in the second round of the Grand Slam tournament in Melbourne for the first time in her tennis career. The 29-year-old from Vorarlberg beat the favorite Italian Elisabetta Cocciaretto with 7:5.2:6.6:4 and will now face the Russian Anna Kalinskaja. Another win means a duel with the Polish Wimbledon champion Iga Swiatek.
