A wave of nostalgia has hit social media. Instagram and TikTok are covered with pink filters, Kylie Jenner and Hailey Bieber, who was still called Baldwin at the time, dig up ten-year-old pictures on social networks. The selfies show Jenner and Baldwin with pink hair, skinny jeans and chokers around their necks. Hardly anyone now wants to miss the event: Snapchat selfies with flower wreaths and dog tongues are buzzing through social media, photos with the image quality of, well, back in the day. Soundtrack of this new retro movement: Zayn’s single “Pillow Talk” or Zara Larsson’s “Lush Life”.
