Ibrachina’s campaign in the 2026 São Paulo Junior Football Cup does not surprise anyone who follows Brazilian grassroots football. The team from the east of São Paulo, founded in 2020, has already eliminated Atlético-MG, Internacional and advanced to the semi-finals of the current edition of the tournament.
Created by Instituto Sociocultural Brasil China (Ibrachina), the club’s main proposal is the integration between sport, education and cultural exchange, with football as the main integration tool between Brazil and China.
The project also reinforces the role of sport as a social agent, promoting inclusion, discipline and future prospects for its young athletes. Ibrachina also aims to build cultural and social bridges, so that its athletes have an even greater repertoire on and off the field.
Still according to the club itself, the mission is to “training high-performance athletes, offering a modern training structure and an environment that values both sporting and educational development”.
Even with its recent foundation, Ibrachona has been standing out in several grassroots tournaments around Brazil. In its fifth participation in the Copinha, ae awaits its opponent in search of a place in the grand final.
