Mokráňová mourns for moderator Ostő († 37): One thought runs through my head all day…

Slovak show business was shocked by recent news about the death of moderator Marcel Osť Osztas († 37). He died on January 16 after a short and difficult struggle with a serious illness. At the beginning of December 2025, he publicly admitted that his prognosis was not favorable and the chances of survival were slim, but he still wanted to fight. His close friend rapper Separ sent him a message on the social network in which he revealed that he was battling extremely insidious pancreatic cancer.

The information about his departure also froze ex-farmer and fitness influencer Lucia Mokráňová. “Today is a very sad day… I’m at a loss for words. A man who left a strong mark on the Slovak and Czech scene has left. The photos became memories and they hurt even more today. My sincere condolences to the whole family and loved ones,” she said on Instagram on Friday.

In the shadow of the moderator’s sad departure, she spoke to the public with a strong challenge. “Maybe it’s a subtle but powerful reminder for us. Life is not a given. Let’s slow down. Let’s not ignore the body’s signals. Let’s allow ourselves a rest, silence, breath. Time goes on inexorably and that is why it is important to live consciously, not in a hurry… we embrace those we have with us. Today. not tomorrow” she told fans.

Difficult thoughts did not leave her for the next several hours. “One thought runs through my head all day long. I think about how a person probably feels when he sits in the doctor’s office and hears words that will change his whole life in a second. When he learns his fate from the doctor. When they tell him that the diagnosis he has is incurable and that nothing can be done about it,” she confided on the social network with an idea that pricks her heart.

She thought about where people get the strength not to give up. “What’s going on in your head at that moment? Fear, anger, sadness, helplessness or silence? How does one take it? How will he grasp it? And above all, how he sets his head in such a way that he was able to keep functioning to say to himself, ‘I’m going to make it, I’m going to be strong, I’m not going to give up,'” she thought.

In conclusion, she described a world in which none of us is untouchable. “Life is crazy (editor’s note). No one is special. Anything can happen to any of us and it affects everyone. But at the same time, there are many things that we can influence ourselves. Let’s take care of ourselves even more than ever before and slow down, because the pace we live in today is downright frighteningly fast,” she added.
