Nursing technicians are detained for injecting lethal substances into patients in DF

The crimes took place at Hospital Anchieta, in Taguatinga; Civil Police of the Federal District continues with the operation open

The Civil Police of the Federal District (PCDF) is investigating three nursing technicians from Hospital Anchieta, in Taguatinga, in , suspected of being responsible for the death of three hospital patients by direct injection of a lethal substance into patients. This Monday, in a statement to the press, they reported that the deaths occurred on November 19th and December 1st, 2025, but they only became public today.

Operation Anubis was launched on January 11th and arrested a man and a woman. The action, which led to the arrest of the suspects, had the support of the Homicide Repression and Personal Protection Coordination (CHPP), Civil Police and Specialized Police Department (DPE).

Last Thursday (15), another suspect was arrested, beginning the second phase of the operation. At the time, the warrant for the seizure of electronic devices was also executed in Ceilândia and Samambaia, according to official information from the PCDF.

During the press conference, delegate Wisllei Salomão informed that the victims are:

  • A retired teacher, 75 years old;
  • A public servant, 63 years old;
  • A man, 33 years old.

Salomão also stated that the injections were administered with the intention to kill. “We have videos demonstrating the actions of these people and we also have an analysis of the medical records of all the medical actions that were carried out in relation to these patients,” said Salomão. “There are convincing elements that the nursing technician posed as a doctor, entered the system that prescribes the hospital’s medicines, twice, and posing as doctors, prescribed the medicines”, he added.

In a statement, Hospital Anchieta stated that the three employees were fired, that it sympathizes with the families of the victims and highlighted that it is committed to providing the necessary assistance in the investigation.

“The Hospital, while also a victim of the actions of these former employees, sympathizes with the families of the victims, and informs that it is collaborating in an unrestricted and unconditional manner with public authorities, reaffirming its permanent commitment to patient safety, truth and justice”, says the note.
