Roger Waters admits moving to Portugal because of Donald Trump

Roger Waters admitted that he is considering leaving the United States due to his opposition to Donald Trump’s policies, pointing out Portugal as one of the possible destinations to live. The revelation was made in an interview with Piers Morgan, where the musician explained that he has been seriously thinking about alternatives outside the country.

“I’ve already thought about several options… Portugal is a possibility. I also like some islands in the Caribbean and the governments that exist there”, said the former member of Pink Floyd, known for his firm political positions and public criticism of the current North American president.

Waters also expressed concern about his future in the United States, admitting that his residence permit could be withdrawn at any time. According to the musician, Trump is “erratic” and can make unpredictable decisions against anyone who disagrees with his ideas.

In the conversation, the artist described the current political context as dangerous and unstable, highlighting that finding a safe and peaceful place to live has become increasingly difficult. Waters also once again criticized the US president’s recent actions on an international level, particularly in relation to Venezuela and Iran, positions that prompted a provocative response from Piers Morgan during the interview.
