UN Secretary General António Guterres has canceled his planned participation in the World Economic Forum (WEF) conference in Davos, Switzerland, due to health reasons. TASR informs about it based on the reports of AFP and Reuters agencies.
“Unfortunately, the Secretary-General has had to cancel his attendance at the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting in Davos. It was scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday 21 January) but he has a bad cold.,” the UN spokesman said, adding that Guterres will travel from Switzerland instead.
