Allies of former president Jair Bolsonaro called for demonstrations for next Sunday (25) in São Paulo and Brasília, in reaction to the transfer of the former head of the Executive to the Custody Center of the Military Police of the Federal District, known as Papudinha, in the Papuda Penitentiary Complex.
The acts call for the granting of house arrest and challenge the convictions related to the attacks on January 8, 2023.
In the capital of São Paulo, the protest is scheduled for 3 pm, in front of Fiesp, on Avenida Paulista. For Brasília, details of location and time have not yet been released.

The call gained strength on the social networks of PL parliamentarians. Deputy Nikolas Ferreira, who began a walk of around 240 km between Paracatu (MG) and Brasília, with arrival scheduled for the same Sunday, coinciding with the date of the events.
Senator Flávio Bolsonaro also announced the call, but informed that he will not participate in the so-called “Walk for Justice and Freedom” as he has a previously scheduled trip to Israel.
According to the organizers, the acts will be peaceful in nature and seek to pressure for changes in the former president’s prison situation.
