The Credit Guarantee Fund (FGC) reported this Tuesday (20) that around 600 thousand requests for reimbursement from creditors of the . In total, there are 800,000 investors entitled to guarantees in the event of the extrajudicial liquidation of the financial institution. According to the FGC, around 3,900 requests are processed per hour.

In a note sent to Young Panthe FGC explained that payment processing may “take longer to complete” due to security steps to prevent fraud, in addition to validating the identity of creditors. The agency also said that there may be other “extra layers of verification” depending on the case.
“After confirmation of payment, creditors receive a copy of the signed document and the process can be consulted, at any time, in the application”, informed the FGC.
The agency added that the following documents are accepted to validate identity in the application: ID with CPF indicated in the document; national identity card; physical and digital national driver’s license; national registry of foreigners; national migration registration card.
