Kitzbühel – The Italian Giovanni Franzoni also set the best time in the second and final training for the World Cup downhill on the Kitzbüheler Streif in 1:52.21 minutes. Behind the 24-year-old on Wednesday were the Frenchman Nils Alphand (+0.09 seconds) and the Styrian Stefan Babinsky (+0.29). The second best Austrian was Vincent Kriechmayr (+1.09) in tenth place, who, like top star Marco Odermatt (9th) and a few others, braked before the finish.
