PSG defender Lucas Hernández and his wife Victoria Triay were named in a complaint for undercover work and human trafficking. The information was published by Paris Match magazine and indicates that the complaint was filed with the Versailles Public Prosecutor’s Office.

According to the report, the accusation was filed by a Colombian family that had provided services to the player and his partner between September 2024 and November 2025. The period mentioned corresponds to the time in which the group would have lived and worked in France.

Accusations against Lucas Hernández

According to the complaint, a couple and their three children were employed without any legal formalization. The family claims to have been subjected to excessive working hours, which varied between 72 and 84 hours a week, without an employment contract or social and tax registration.

The complainants report that they performed multiple functions at the athlete’s residence, located in the Yvelines department, in the metropolitan region of Paris. Activities include security, gardening, cleaning, cooking and childcare services.

Payments, according to the testimony, were made exclusively in cash. The women would have received around 2,000 euros a month, while the men, who acted as security guards, including armed guards, received amounts between 500 and 3,000 euros.

Defense and player positioning

To date, there has been no court decision on the case. The complaint remains in the analysis phase by the French authorities, who evaluate the elements presented by the complainants.

The family’s lawyer, Lola Dubois, claims that none of the five workers had access to basic rights, such as vacations or social benefits. For her, the absence of formal contracts indicates that the irregularities would have occurred consciously.

In February 2025, workers were allegedly made to sign confidentiality agreements and received false Spanish documents to simulate legality. Also according to the complaint, only in October 2025, after the dismissal of two employees, contracts would have been drawn up retroactively, with working hours incompatible with the described routine.

The case also cites an episode of attempted robbery at the residence, in December 2024, in which family members allegedly responded armed. Since November 2025, the complainants claim to no longer provide services to the player and report subsequent intimidation.

When contacted, Lucas Hernández’s agent stated that the athlete and his partner were unaware of the complaint and appeared surprised by the accusations. The process remains under evaluation by the French Court.

On his social networks, the player published a note about the case. In the joint statement with his partner, Hernández refuted the accusations, claiming that, in fact, they were the target of emotional exploitation and manipulation.

The text also highlights that they received the Colombians believing they were helping people they knew.

Legal problems involving Lucas Hernández

This is not the first time that the PSG and French national team defender has been involved in legal disputes. In February 2017, Hernández was sentenced to 31 days of community work for assaulting his girlfriend, who later became his wife. The couple ended up separating years later.

At the time, a court order was also issued that prevented the defender from approaching his partner within 500 meters. She also received 31 days of community service for assault, battery and property damage.
