After an exchange of blows with Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary, tech billionaire Elon Musk is voting on his online platform X on whether he should buy the low-cost airline. With a current market value of around 30 billion euros, Ryanair would be quite affordable for Musk, the richest person in the world. However, according to EU rules, only Europeans are allowed to be majority owners of airlines in the Union. Ryanair comes from Ireland.
