The President of the European Council repeats that he does not want to intervene in the Presidential elections in Portugal but hopes to be able, on February 8th, to congratulate the “candidate from the democratic area” for whom he will vote again. We talk about António José Seguro.
António Costa, former prime minister and current president of the European Council, revealed this Wednesday in an interview with RTP that he voted for António José Seguro in the first round of the presidential elections and will repeat his vote in the second round.
“I will give my vote to the President that I want to be elected. It was all that was needed not to vote for a candidate from the democratic area. I am happy to repeat in the second round the same vote I made in the first round”, he revealed.
In other words, it is clear that António Costa voted and will vote again for the candidate supported by the Socialist Party (PS), António José Seguro.
