Randolfe defends broad investigation into Master, from laundering to campaign donations

The government leader in Congress, senator Randolfe Rodrigues (PT-AP), again defended this Tuesday (20) measures to investigate the alleged irregularities of Banco Master.

“Everything must be investigated, there is nothing hidden that cannot be discovered: from money laundering to campaign contributions. We have a duty to monitor, demand explanations and protect the country’s economy. From whoever, wherever they are”, declared the senator in his profile on X.

Randolfe classified the case as “one of the biggest crimes against the national financial system that has ever occurred in the history of our country” and listed the measures he will support:

  1. The performance and supervision of the Central Bank deserve our tribute;
  2. The investigations that are ongoing by the Public Ministry and Federal Police;
  3. The Working Group, created by President Renan, within the scope of the Senate Economic Affairs Committee (CAE);
  4. Any CPI or CPMI initiatives that are being processed in the National Congress.

Randolfe will be one of the members of the working group created by the Senate’s Economic Affairs Committee (CAE) to supervise the investigations.

The group will be installed in the first week of February, will be coordinated by Renan Calheiros (MDB-AL) and will also have the participation of opposition members.
