Monika Jákliová († 31), the former partner of our well-known wrestler Gábor Boráros, died tragically on Wednesday, January 21. He spoke to the portal only a few hours after learning the devastating news, while also visiting the scene of the accident. Boráros appeared at the scene of the car accident with a bouquet of flowers and himself said goodbye to his former love, the mother of his daughter. He then revealed how he found out that his ex-partner had a car accident. “Shortly before four in the morning, one of Monica’s friends called me, but I didn’t even fully understand what she was saying, I just understood that something bad had happened.” stated at the beginning.
He immediately received another call. “A little while later, a relative who works at the fire department in Dunajská Streda called me and confirmed that Monika died while being transported to the hospital after an accident at this well-known bend. I remembered her because once I almost crashed here too, but I managed to keep the car,” he recalled.
“Monika was unlucky because she hit the trees, if that hadn’t happened, she might still be alive. I heard she could have gone one hundred and eighty,” said Gábor with tears in his eyes as he placed the flowers on the ground. According to him, she meant a lot to him, although they were no longer a couple.
He admitted that he had not yet been able to tell his daughter what had happened to her mother. “Zora was with me, I took her to kindergarten in the morning and when we said goodbye, she asked if her mother would come to pick her up after that… I didn’t know what to say to her, I just swallowed my tears… I have no idea how to tell her. I am looking for a psychologist to help us process this situation because I think that Both Zora and I will need his help,” you sighed.
