Report on the death of actor Pavle Nečas († 59) was a big shock for the Czech Republic. He died suddenly on the last day of 2025. The cause of death was revealed only a few hours later. Rescue service spokesman Karel Kris spoke to the newspaper about the unsuccessful fight for the actor’s life.
“On Wednesday, we intervened in a man aged around 60 who had a sudden circulatory arrest. Telephone-assisted resuscitation was provided to him the entire time until the emergency services arrived. Unfortunately, even after a subsequent 30-minute resuscitation, vital functions could not be restored and death was declared.” the spokesman said.
Viewers may remember the actor from the series Office in the Rose Garden, Okresný prebor, ZOO, Vinári, or from the films 3Bobule, Striedavka and The Story of the Godfather. During his career he also performed a number of theater roles. Alongside the actress and singer Eva Burešová, he played the main role in the production of The Bodyguard, a musical adaptation of the hit movie Bodyguard.
In the film Bajkeri, he starred with Slovak singer and actress Celeste Buckingham. Like his other colleagues, the unexpected death of Pavle Nečas shocked and saddened her. “I was happy and I’m sorry that we haven’t had time to see each other – always our coach,” the former superstar confessed on the social network.
The departure of the famous actor also affected Petr Bende. Unfortunately, the couple did not manage to realize their joint intentions. “Such sad news! I am very sorry. And we agreed together in December that we would meet again on the stage this year… Happy flight up there and sincere condolences to the family. Sincerely Peter,” he wrote on Facebook.
