The walls of the social entrance to the Dawn Stadium were covered in graffiti this Wednesday morning (21). The fans’ protest comes after the club lost to Novorizontino 4-0 away from home, the worst defeat of the era. The written phrases criticized Verdão’s performance, with messages such as “shameless team” and “2025 again”.

The coach did not escape the fan’s complaints: “Abel, is the magic over?”, referring to a phrase said by the Portuguese after the 3-0 defeat in the first leg of the 2025 Libertadores da América semifinal, where he promised a “magical night” in the second leg.

Palmeiras ended up turning that dispute at home and going to the final of the competition, which they lost to Flamengo 1-0. President Leila Pereira also received “affection” from the fan, who wrote “Leila, your business is stealing”.

Verdão used several reserves in last Tuesday’s match, aiming for the classic against São Paulo next Saturday (24), at 6:30 pm.
