Martin Fleischhacker (50), long-time manager and managing director of Wiener Zeitung GmbH since 2018, is leaving the state-owned company early. Fleischhacker announced this to the workforce on Wednesday. Fleischhacker’s contract, renewed in 2024, would run until mid-2027. It was said that he was moving to the management of a – as yet unnamed – media company in German-speaking countries.
