For years it has been reported that the number of AD(H)D is increasing, and more and more people are being diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. A particularly large number of diagnoses affect adults; STANDARD reported on it here. This does not mean that more people are suddenly getting ADHD. In fact, there is now a greater awareness of the disorder, more people are taking the tests and receiving a corresponding diagnosis.
