Paris – Following the Swiss food giant Nestlé, the French dairy industry group Lactalis launched a large-scale recall of infant formula in several countries on Wednesday because it may contain the toxin cereulide. Six batches of the “Picot” brand were affected. French authorities linked the two cases. Accordingly, the cause lies with a manufacturer in China.
