Vienna wants to start a pilot project in the spring for the closed accommodation of intensive care offenders under criminal responsibility. As the municipal department for child and youth welfare (MA 11) confirmed corresponding APA research, a concept is now being developed in more detail. Key points have already been determined. According to this, young people under criminal responsibility should be able to be kept in a “time-out shared apartment” for up to six weeks if they pose a high risk to themselves or others.
