It has been apparent for some time, but amid the transatlantic tensions, warnings are increasing: Europe is becoming increasingly dependent on US energy. While the exit from Russian gas is sealed by 2027, the EU is looking for alternatives. Significant amounts of natural gas, especially in liquefied form (LNG), are still flowing from Russia.
