The level of the Acre River continues to rise in Rio Branco and remains above the overflow level, according to bulletins released by the Municipal Civil Defense this Thursday (22). According to measurements, at 5:21 am the river reached 14.68 meters, rising to 14.69 meters at 9 am and reaching 14.70 meters at noon.
The alert level in the capital of Acre is 13.50 meters, while the overflow level is 14.00 meters, a level already exceeded since the early hours of the day. In the last 24 hours, the accumulated rainfall was 16.20 millimeters, a factor that directly contributes to the rise in river levels.

Civil Defense continues to monitor the situation continuously and pays close attention to riverside areas and neighborhoods most vulnerable to flooding. If the level continues to rise, new preventive measures may be adopted to ensure the safety of the population.
The information comes from the municipal Civil Defense coordinator, lieutenant colonel Cláudio Falcão, who reinforces the importance of the population following official bulletins and following the guidelines of protection bodies.
